This week was an adventure, moving to the east in Sabah created some new issues. The two regions in the east are rather spread out which required some students to travel 10-16 hours by bus. To help these students to get back home in time to teach school on Monday, we restructured the schedule to cover 40 hours in 4 instead of five days. While this provides an extra off day, teaching from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM 3 of the 4 days makes you earn that extra day off. We had a power outage on Thursday that forced class to be conducted "old school" (without technology) out side.
Group work once again was a highlight of the week as the students came together and and did an excellent job working together and teaching each other.
By the end of the week the group presentations were getting quite lively including demonstrations.
With all this work going on there was always some time to take a break and grab some tea to get refreshed.
