Week off in KL

During the off week in Kuala Lumpur (KL), I had the chance to shop for some bargains in China Town, visit the Twin Towers. and explore new areas of KL.  The Twin Towers are a KL landmark.  The towers are the second highest building in the world.  The tickets to go up in the towers were sold out by the time Tony and I got to the towers.  The towers are connected to a huge mall and have park areas in the front and back.

The mall was decorated for the celebration of Hari Raya, which is celebrated after Ramadan ends.  The main celebration is the first three days after Ramadan, but the whole month after Ramadan is designated as a celebration month.

At the base of the towers is a nice display and a gift shop.

One side had a large open space out to the street, but you couldn't get far enough back to get a complete picture of the towers.

The other side had a large park that had a nice fountain and interesting trees.
